Christmas Cards & life at 38 weeks pregnant.

The kids & I are sorta bored of being pregnant & waiting for baby to come so we've been trying to keep busy by making handmade Christmas cards for you all. --Stay tuned.
I get all excited every time I go to the doctor & they seem to think the baby will be born "very soon". Last week I was 1.5 cm dilated (TMI) & I went home thinking I would deliver that night. Maybe they are not used to people having more than 1 or 2 kids. I think your body gets ready way sooner after having a few kids. Anyway, I feel like unpacking my hospital bag just in case my baby will never come out & the PJ's I packed will get moldy.
Mac & I have been watching TV series every night to pass time. We're watching DEXTER about a serial killer. No wonder I only have contractions at night & they go away in the morning. Too much excitement.
Anyway, sorry to bore you with my boredom. Tomorrow I will sleep-in till the crack of noon.

Carole's Birthday

Carole celebrated her birthday with some class mates. Needless to say it was very loud & hectic but she had a lot of fun. Carole & sisters made marble cake the day before & we did what we did last year; set out a lot of different toppings & colored whipped creams for everyone to put on their piece of cake as they like it. I'm glad Mac was there to help with games & to try & control the mayhem.

As you can see she also got a lot of presents from her friends.

After the kids went home Carole & Daddy made a nice birthday dinner for all of us. Then we all sat down & enjoyed Caroles Birthday present Wii game set (Sports).

Getting ready for the big day

Well my hospital bag is slowly being packed. This time I will not be doing all the packing once labor has begun.

I have 4 weeks 'till due date but hoping it wil be a little earlier for my sanity & aching back's sake.

I have found a hospital to have the baby at, my last singing job was on Sunday, my passport application is in & now all I have to do is wait ever so (not) patiently.

School Visitation Day

Today I visited the kids school & got to see some of their classes. Kiki does well in gym class & here is a pic of Carole in art class. She is making a cake out of paper & beads & little nick-knacks.(sp)

The last month of freedom (if U can say elephants are free)

I wish I knew how to enjoy my last month of partial freedom before I will be swamped with diapers, nursing & sleepless nights. But as always I am anxious to know if the little one is healthy, cute & really definitely a girl. (4 predictions from 2 doctors)
I went to a nice hospital where I thought I would have the baby. Every one was so nice & the equipment really advanced. (I actually saw the baby's face & her eyes were closed & mouth open trying to suck her fingers. --It was so cute.)
Anyway after a few hours of waiting & finally having a check up & doing paperwork I half understood & deciding to go there, I find out that it's really expensive to have a baby there. :( I really thought it was a normal hospital but I guess not.
So now I'm trying to find a different one.
Anyway, all the stress keeps me busy so I don't have time to be bored these past few days.

Undokai (school sports event)

We just had the kids Undokai which is an annual event. They divide the school into 2 teams, red & white. Kiki & Carole were both on the red team & that team won. They have races, relays, dances, exercise games, etc. It was really hot & we had to sit in the sun all day to watch, but the kids had fun.

Bike riding

The girls have been learning to ride their bikes. Kiki just rode (no training wheels) the first time she got on. I think it's because she's been practicing riding a unicycle at school. Carole can ride without falling down too.

End of Summer Festivities --"Hello Kitty" Land
