The kids have been home for the last few days. It seems that summer vacation usually starts with a bout of fevers. All of us except daddy have taken a turn in the fever department including me right now. It's really hot these days, so probably the reason we are sick is because of the temperature changes between the heat outside & the air conditioning. But we can't really sleep without it.
Unlike Tom & Hansi's kids we have so much homework, these poor Japanese kids, they study so hard.
Hopefully we'll make it down to Grandma's place & take lots of pictures of our summer.

Poor you! Sorry that you are sick, I was also coming down with something but was so busy that I never got around to it. (har har)
That's so unfair that the kids have homework, that's downright mean. Jason's teacher actually forbade his class to do anything school-related for 4 weeks so that they recuperate from their busy year. Poor girls. Send them hugs from us!
well I think they get home work because they are not starting a new school year in Sept.
In spring break (before the new school year in Jpn) they have no HW but that is only a 10 day break.
