Time for a new post

Not that I have anything inspiring to say. Doubt you want to hear about my digestive problems right now. I can't wait for the nausea stage to be over. It's really gross. My throat is bleeding from gagging & barfing, etc. (Too much info)
Tomorrow we'll have Leila's birthday party because Daddy is going away on her real birthday.
Things have been hectic with work for Mac & I, Carole had her first fever in a few years.
Anyway, If we manage to get photos of Leila's party, I'll post 'em soon.

Tokyo Disney Land

I took the kids to Disney Land. It was very crowded so we stayed all day from 10 am to 10 pm. The kids had fun, though waiting in line was a bit tiring. We ate lots of yummy popcorn & had pizza for dinner. The favorite rides were "pirates of the Caribbean", "star tours" & "It's a small world". Leila was scared of the witch in the snow white ride. She was holding on to me for dear life.

The kids fell asleep on the way home so getting them off the train was a crazy experience.

Spring break & Grandma's visit

The kids Japanese Grandma & Uncle Jo came for a visit. We went to Shinjuku park where they had a cute little petting zoo set up. There were lots of little rabbits, ducks, geese, goats, guinea pigs & baby chicks to hold & pet. The girls loved the baby chicks most of all.

Mac's birthday party.

Last night we celebrated Mac's 29th birthday with Mana, David & Jun. We had dinner together, ate cake, talked & watched the "Borat" movie. --Good times!

Spring is almost here (we wish)

We enjoyed a brief moment of springlike weather. Our pretty ume tree blossomed & all the old ladies passing by got all excited because they thought it was a sakura, but alas, it is just our ume the impostor. (-They blossom before sakura trees).

Anyway, the kids made a picnic mat & ate snacks under our tree. The next day was freezing & rainy so there went our early spring...

Hinamatsuri ("girls day" or "doll festival")

Grandma's 80th Birthday

Grandma flew from Ohio & we celebrated her 80th as every American family should with steak, potatos & salads for lunch, & a delicious chocolate cake mom made topped with ice cream.
