Pool

Today we went to the pool together. It wasn't the hottest day of the year & I was freezing the whole time, but I promised the kids I'd take them today & they wouldn't let me off.
We were not allowed to take pictures but I snuck this one in. Here are the girls getting ready to go for a swim.

A strrrraaange sight!

I was like riding on the train standing up & I look down at the "girl" sitting down right under me. Anyway "she" had a bit of a 4:00 shadow poking through the foundation & bright pink lips, huge lopsided boobs, a matted blond wig with a rabbit hairband, pink flower high heels, short mini skirt, little pink tinkerbell watch, & not very recently shaved arms & legs. The funniest part was that when "she" got up, her skirt was so short, the butt cheeks were clearly visible. I tried to get a shot of the cheeks, but it's hard to take a discrete photo, so here "she" is from the back. (not nearly as disturbing as the front view). Eyuw!

Bye Yumi

Yum Cha (Yumi chan) left yesterday. The kids really had lots of fun with their Aunt. We took Yumi out to Sizzler for a bye bye dinner.

Julie's Kyute Baby Violet

Violet
Isn't she the loveliest thing?
Sorta looks like Lei when she was a bee.
(Bee means Baby in Carole/Kiki/Leila language.)

SUNNY DAY

Today was the first sunny day in about a week. We almost forgot it was summer for all the rain & gloom lately. The laundry was just not drying......(a mother's nightmare.)
Carole went to her school for summer holiday swimming lessons & we all went to a park. The park had a wading pool/fountain to splash around in. It made today's heat bearable.

Fun With Aunt Yumi

These last few days have been really fun for the kids because the kids have had Yumi's full attention. They made bead bracelets & did art projects, played card games, read stories, & so many other things.
Yesterday we went to "Toys R Us" & ate lunch together. Here they are at the train station ready to go home & play with their new toys.

Summer Holidays

Today started the kids Summer Holidays from school! (aka: Mom gets to sleep in.)
Carole got her first report card yesterday & got only good grades. Woopie doo! Here in Japan school starts in April so she just finished the first marking period. Last night Daddy took Carole & Kiki to the movie theater to watch CARS (PIXAR). Leila & I stayed home to clean the house & eat ice cream.
Daddy left this morning for another 5 day job so we are home alone again except that Yumi (Mac's sister) is coming tomorrow to visit for a while. Yay! We like Yumi.
Other highlights of the week include Daddy finding a female kabutomushi (rhinoceros Beetle). Carole bought a male kabutomushi at the pet shop & a nice little bug case with dirt & food for the beetles with her allowance. Now our living room shelf is a regular zoo with the birds & the bugs & too bad the birds can't get to the bugs for a nice meal. ;)
Mike & Aich & kids came over a few days ago & we were going to go out to a restaurant but all the sudden Leila started coughing & wheezing & fell asleep & Aich said she wonders if Leila has a mild case of asthma. Anyway, we decided to send the daddies out to pick up sushi & pizza & chicken & stuff so we could have an indoor picnic. (Actually, we sent them out so we could have a gossip. hehe.)
Today it was still raining (4th consecutive day) so we couldn't go out on our first day off so I slept a lot & the kids played & fought & we ate banana splits for dinner. (Don't tell Daddy. --Actually we had a huge late lunch with lots of protien & fruits & good stuff, ok?)

The photos are of the kids & I at a friends house eating all their fruit & chocolate (like every guest should), & of Carole's pet beetles. The last pic is of the kids at a train station mall.

Happy Birthday Julie

Julie's favorite things:
Raindrops on roses & whiskers on kittens.........--Not!!!

Not ordering her own food at restaurants but picking off of people's plates.
If she does order it's only a salad & diet coke.
Eating the inedible parts of food like bones, cartilage, apple cores, peels.
GUCCI Rush & other really nice expensive Gucci things.
Shopping & going out with me, of course.
Partying!!! (--Mildly. hehe)
Make up & looking beautiful.
Memories of her 21st birthday. (Joke)
Coffee & cigarettes. (tisk, tisk)

I guess maybe you've added a & subtracted a few since becoming a mom like:
Sleeping & taking a break from baby
Buying new things for baby
Not smoking (hint, hint)

Let me know what's up.
Love you, Julie. You are my little darling.
Happy Birthday.

Leila & Me

Leila & I have been spending a lot of time together while the girls are at school. Today we went to a restaurant with all the moms from Kindergarten. It was a sort of getting to know each other activity. It was fun & the food was yummy. --Japanese. One of the kindergarten mothers is a cook at this Japanese restaurant so we all clapped for her. I'd like to work at a restaurant some day. First I need to learn how to cook. ha!

Our first little pets

The kids just got 3 new little parakeets. They are so cute.
Carole's is
light blue & it's name is Bluebell
Kiki's is green & it's name is Tweety
Leila's is yellow & it's name is Ella
We don't know what sex the birdies are.
Today I let them out for their first fly around time. It was a bit tricky trying to catch them & put them back in the cage, but with the help of gloves & a long sleeved jacket I managed to put them back without getting bitten. (They still aren't used to us yet.)

ITALY WON

I'm kind of happy Italy won the World Cup. I was born there so Mac said I should want Italy to win.
I kind of lost track of the games when Japan didn't advance, but anyway it's over & Italy won & it's better that than have France win, but I'd better not say that because my friend Sylvie is part French. Anyway, She's probably the nicest thing about France anyway. --And Camembert cheese.

I went out on a date last night

And for all you dirty minds, it was with my husband, BTW. hehe
I came home from work & he said that his sis was coming over to take the kids so we could go out. I was so happy because we haven't gone out, just the two of us, in ages. He wanted to watch a movie but I had a headache & lately my eyes have been hurting so we found a really cool restaurant instead.
The restaurant had this gothic/medieval/catholic sorta interior to it. It was kind of pretty with all these candles & stained glass decorations & chandeliers. The food was good too & I was happy because going out to eat is one of my favorite things.
And a date with Mac wouldn't be a date with Mac if we didn't "just stop at the music store for a few minutes". He was testing guitars & got to try them with an amp & the store guy probably thought "Man, this guy plays so good, I bet he's really going to score tonight". hehehe. Little does he know we are already married.
So that was our date. --And everyone was happy!
