Kiki's Birthday

Saturday:
I promised Kiki I'd take her to pierce her ears at a clinic for her birthday. Leila wanted to pierce her ears too so we went & got it done. Kiki was first & didn't make a peep so Leila figured it didn't hurt at all but then when it was her turn, she cried a bit & said "actually, it does hurt a little bit". But now they are happy & pretty & it's done with.
Sunday:
Like Christmas, we opened presents as soon as we woke up & ate breakfast. Kiki got her much wished for present, a light blue DS lite, & that kept them busy all day. Angie & I made cakes & cookies for her party on Monday. Daddy took the girls to an Indian Curry restaurant for Kiki's birthday lunch.
Monday:
Some of Kiki's friends came over for cake & gave her some cute little presents. They did some games & dancing. We learned from Carole's party to not make it too long or we end up not knowing what to do with all those wild kids

Winter Vacation

We had a slow vacation due to sickness & a new baby. Angie arrived to visit us & we got her sick too. But at home we enjoyed watching movies & the home videos we took of the kids when they were little.

The kids went ice-skating with daddy & we went with daddys family to the "all you can eat" restaurant. We also went to sled park.

Show Pics

The kids had a show with daddy last night. Kiki had a high fever so she couldn't go. Carole sang so well, and Leila did some cool "moves" on the side.

Happy Birthday Dad

4 YEARS OLD: My Daddy Can Do Anything.

5 YEARS OLD: My Daddy knows a Whole lot.

6 YEARS OLD: My Dad Is Smarter Than Your Dad.

8 YEARS OLD: My Dad Doesn't Know Exactly Everything.

10 YEARS OLD: In The Olden Days When My Dad Grew Up, Things Were Sure Different.

12 YEARS OLD: Oh Well, Naturally, Father Doesn't Know Anything About That.

14 YEARS OLD: Don't Pay Any Attention To My Father. He Is So Old-Fashioned.

21 YEARS OLD: Dad? My Lord, He's Hopelessly Out Of Date.

25 YEARS OLD: Dad Knows A Little Bit About It, But Then, He Should, He's Been Around So Long.

30 YEARS OLD: Maybe We Should Ask Dad What He Thinks. After All He's Had a Lot Of Experience.

35 YEARS OLD: I'M Not Doing A Single Thing Until I Talk To Dad!

40 YEARS OLD: I Wonder How Dad Would Have Handled It. He Was So Wise And Had A World Of Experience.

50 YEARS OLD: I'd Give Anything If Dad Were Here So I Could Talk This Over With Him. Too Bad I Didn't Appreciate How Smart He Was. I Could Have Learned A Lot From Him.

Fun at the park

Christmas Cards & life at 38 weeks pregnant.

The kids & I are sorta bored of being pregnant & waiting for baby to come so we've been trying to keep busy by making handmade Christmas cards for you all. --Stay tuned.
I get all excited every time I go to the doctor & they seem to think the baby will be born "very soon". Last week I was 1.5 cm dilated (TMI) & I went home thinking I would deliver that night. Maybe they are not used to people having more than 1 or 2 kids. I think your body gets ready way sooner after having a few kids. Anyway, I feel like unpacking my hospital bag just in case my baby will never come out & the PJ's I packed will get moldy.
Mac & I have been watching TV series every night to pass time. We're watching DEXTER about a serial killer. No wonder I only have contractions at night & they go away in the morning. Too much excitement.
Anyway, sorry to bore you with my boredom. Tomorrow I will sleep-in till the crack of noon.
