Forgive this vain post

I'm just so proud of myself because I am down to pre-pregnancy weight. Actually lighter. Tx to Lina & that she wants to nurse all the time.

Woops

So like, I always post all this mothers day stuff about Mom & send her cards, but then I don't do the same about Dad. Maybe because, you know, Mom's all into celebrations & holidays but dad is calm & happy that he gets an email.

But anyway.....

GW (golden week)

We're having a small 4 day holiday from school. Leila had her birthday the day before yesterday. I made Hanna's chocolate cake & it was a small risk because I don't like to make anything that I haven't made before, when I have guests. But I trusted Hanna you see, & put myself "out on that limb of faith" & it was delicious.

As soon as Mac comes back from his work trip, I'll post pictures of Leila's birthday because I don't know how to get the pictures from his camera onto the computer.

Happy 30th, Tom

He he, my little brother turns 30 today. When we were little I used to call him "Commie" which was not the coolest name to have back then during what was the "cold war".

I also used to beat my head against the wall to get mom's attention after he was born. But Tom & I got along well when we were little. Mom said we never fought like you other kids, yay us!

Well, Have a great birthday, Tom. Celebrate in true German style (beers, etc)

Happy Baby --Update

Lina is 4 months & very active already. She holds toys & baby biscuits & puts them in her mouth. She gets all bored when we keep her in the same place for a while. She tries to sit up by tensing her stomach muscles, but gets mad that she can't get sit up. She tries to grab so I need to watch out for my tea cup & stuff I am holding. She likes books & colorful things.
